Sonja Sohn
Sonja Sohn is best known for her portrayal of Detective Shakima Greggs on HBOís The Wire, for which she garnered two NAACP Image Award nominations for Best Supporting Television Actress and won The Asian Excellence Award in the same category in 2008.
Other TV work includes The Good Wife, Body of Proof and Burn Notice. On the big screen her work includes in Martin Scorseseís Bringing Out The Dead and Shaft. She is the Founder and CEO of ReWired For Change, a non-profit organization that works to empower at risk youth and families living in under-served communities through education, media and social advocacy, inter-generational programs and street based intervention.
